HELP SUPPORT AMERICAN JOBS! |
|
The Bakery Confectionery Tobacco Workers & Grain Millers Union (BCTGM), is asking for help from ALL UNION MEMBERS. One of their companies, Mondelez, is out-sourcing American jobs to Mexico to make products that most Americans buy. Some items include Oreo's, Chicken-in-a-biscuit, Chips-a-hoy, and Ritz crackers. What you can do to help? Check for the words "Made in Mexico" underneath the ingredients list. Also, you can check the label where the expiration date is for the plant identification code. You will see (for example: 15JAN16AH214). The 15 is the date, JAN is the month, 16 is the year, the next two letters shows the plant identification. If you see:
MM = Monterrey, Mexico
MS = Salinas, Mexico
then DO NOT BUY THOSE. You are looking for codes:
AE = Chicago, IL
AH = Portland, OR
AP = Fairlawn, NJ
AX = Atlanta, GA
AZ = Richmond, VA
XL = Naperville, IL.
These are the ONLY ones to buy because they were made by hard working American's. Please do your part to help. You can visit www.FightForAmericanJobs.org and follow the BCTGM on Facebook and Twitter.
